CIF's health programme focuses on closing the gap between communities and basic healthcare services. This includes organizing free or subsidized medical outreaches, health screenings, immunization support, maternal and child health awareness, and preventive care education - often in underserved and rural areas where clinics are scarce or costly. The goal is not just treatment but prevention: teaching hygiene practices, nutrition, and early disease detection so families avoid preventable illness altogether.
These images document CIF's 2024 World AIDS Day community health outreach (HIV Testing Services), run in collaboration with the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), Heartland Alliance, the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, and KNCV Nigeria, across outreach sites in Northern and Eastern Nigeria.
